Dick has more than 40 years of progressive experience in executive management, operations consulting, process improvements, lean implementations and sales and marketing management. His career is grounded in technical, operations management and field sales/marketing with The Standard Oil Company of Ohio and General Electric. As a senior manager and executive, he has led several companies in diverse industries to growth and sustained profitability by communicating a clear vision, creating empowered organizations and simplifying systems and processes to eliminate waste and improve on-time deliveries and quality.
Dick leverages his rich background and skills in his consulting practice. An innovative change agent, he applies “lean thinking” to business development, systems implementations and organizational development. His clients include AFTMA, Alpha Metals, American Aircraft Repair, Avedon Engineering, Blue Cross–Blue Shield (Arkansas and Rhode Island plans), Celestial Seasonings Teas, Charmilles Technologies, Continental Mills, Flowers Foods, Globe Insurance, Johnson & Johnson Company, John Sterling Corporation, Ohio Table Pad Company, Oklahoma Power and Gas, Packaging Dynamics, Polyclad Technologies, Polymer Engineering, Precision Carbide Tool, Sanford Office Products and the Management Association of Illinois.
